Carboline is looking for a Customer Service Representative to be the driving force behind a seamless customer experience! In this role, you'll take ownership of the full order lifecycle—from order entry through production coordination, shipment, and billing—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service every step of the way.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
Physical Requirements:
This role is primarily desk-based and involves extended computer use (up to 8 hours per day). No significant physical exertion, lifting, or unusual environmental conditions are required.
Essential Functions:
Accurately enter and manage customer orders from multiple channels, ensuring correct pricing, product details, and shipping terms. Coordinate production, scheduling, and shipments; partner with expediting teams to prioritize and meet delivery timelines. Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates or changes to customers and sales teams. Collaborate with production and internal teams to resolve issues and meet customer expectations. Support inventory planning by recommending stock adjustments based on sales direction. Ensure compliance with company policies related to pricing, credits, freight, commissions, and quality standards. Process returns (RGAs) and credit memos efficiently and accurately. Maintain strong product and systems knowledge. Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
