Powersports Service Writer

Road and Track Powersports is looking for an energetic and positive attitude Powersport Service Representative with experience in the powersports parts/service field. Previous experience in the Automotive, Powersport, Motorcycle industry is highly preferred. Experience with warranty work is a huge plus! A successful Powersports/Motorcycle Service Representative is an individual who is motivated from within and is vital to the parts, service and sales department's success. This is an individual who understands that we are a business of convenience. Furthermore this individual will communicate and work well with co-workers, and customers and can, successfully work alongside and hand in hand with the service manager.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:

• Identify customers needs and exceed their expectations in assisting them with their request
• Assist with product questions and issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Maintain special tools and literature required by manager
• Provide repair order information as required by the service manager
• Have professional and courteous phone etiquette
• Provide prompt, dependable, high quality, service to internal and external customers.
• Work closely with the service writers, parts and sales departments
• Assist service manager with writing up work orders, and communicating with customers.

Making service calls to customers, and well as setting up service appointments

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Previous Powersport/Automotive Service experience is preferred and an understanding of motorcycles and ATV's, UTV's is required
• Experience with Powerport/Automotive warranty claims preferred
• Proficient computer skills
• Adequate grammar skills, and clear and concise communications skills
• A positive attitude & the ability to multitask
• Experience and prior training in the powersports business A background check is required and we are a drug free environment.
