Communicate regularly with customers and consumers by telephone or email in order to provide information about products and services, provide order status, or to resolve issues. Strives to find and develop "upsell" opportunities for customers whether it be additions to existing orders or merchandising that can enhance existing product. Provide assigned sales team members continuous order and shipping status reports as well as progress against monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives. Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. Works with accounting to resolve billing issues by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting invoices. Processing customer and consumer defective claims. Other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of customer sales and support ethics, principles, and procedures. Driven by excellence and team mentality. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience in using CRM/sales and service tracking software. Must be familiar with using Shopify (SAP-Business 1 would be ideal). Must have great communication skills, both written and verbal. Patience, versatility, and adaptability in communications with customers are highly desired traits. Must have good listening skills, attentive to detail, and ability to formulate solutions quickly. Should have the skill of versatility; will have to adapt to many situations regarding the customer. This position will report to the Account Services Manager with the primary responsibility of owning all aspects of the customer transaction process. Additionally, this individual will be empowered to build one-on-one relationships with retail customers and consumers to drive incremental sales and cultivate long-term growth for the business.
