Monday•Friday | 7:00 AM•3:00 PM About the Role The Customer Service Specialist manages customer accounts, ensuring accurate order processing, issue resolution, and a high-quality customer experience. This role works closely with customers and cross-functional teams to drive timely, effective solutions and support operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage customer orders, including entry, tracking, and follow-up Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution Investigate and resolve shipping, invoicing, and order discrepancies Partner with cross-functional teams (AR, warehouse, transportation, supply chain) to address escalations Monitor account activity and identify trends or risks Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems Support claims processing and follow through to resolution Communicate proactively with customers on order status and issues Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Cross-train across warehouse and transportation functions as needed
Qualifications Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, or order management Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Preferred:
Experience in distribution or logistics environments Familiarity with claims/returns processing Experience with systems such as SAP, WMS, or TMS What Success Looks Like Accurate, timely order processing Strong resolution of customer issues and escalations Effective collaboration across teams Positive customer and stakeholder feedback Contributions to process improvements We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
