Job Description

Job Overview Lewis Trailer Sales is seeking to add a Parts and Service Advisor team member. In this energetic role, you will have to troubleshoot issues and guide clients through their trailer maintenance needs, recommend necessary repairs, and ensure a seamless service experience.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales:
Assisting walk-in customers and internal service technicians with part selection, answering phones, and providing expert advice.
Inventory Management:
Receiving, stocking, and organizing parts, as well as conducting inventory counts and identifying out-of-stock items.
Order Processing:
Processing, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately, including handling back-ordered items.
Technical Support & Installation:
Assisting in the installation of trailer components (e.g., lighting, wiring, brakes, hitches, flooring).
Documentation:
Utilizing computer systems to input data, create invoices, and maintain accurate records.
Facility Maintenance:
Maintaining a clean, safe parts department and warehouse area.
Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in parts department, retail, or a related automotive/trailer field.
Skills:
Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office, POS systems) and ability to use inventory management tools.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy items (often up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work with hand tools.
Licensing:
A valid driver's license is required.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with trailer parts, components, and maintenance is highly preferred.
Pay:
From $35,000.00 per year
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
