Training:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (9-12 weeks, fully onsite)
Permanent Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM Long-term contract opportunity Role Impact This role serves as the primary contact for inbound pharmacy-related inquiries, helping reduce workflow interruptions for clinical staff while ensuring patients receive accurate, timely support. Success is defined by strong call handling performance, precise documentation, schedule adherence, and effective coordination with pharmacists and nurses to support safe medication fulfillment. Key Responsibilities Manage high-volume inbound calls related to prescription status, billing, refill needs, and general inquiries Conduct outbound calls to coordinate medication delivery and payment to ensure accurate profile information and timely shipment Respond directly to customer inquiries or route to appropriate clinical or operational teams for resolution Document concise and accurate progress notes to maintain workflow visibility across teams Utilize management information systems to verify insurance, confirm shipment status, process refills, and provide invoice copies Escalate clinical questions to pharmacists or nurses as appropriate Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinical staff to support patient safety Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications At least 1 year of high-volume call center experience with strict attendance and schedule adherence standards Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute with accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams Core Tools & Systems Pharmacy management information systems (MIS) Insurance verification platforms Order entry and prescription tracking systems Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams Call management/telephony systems Preferred Skills Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or specialty medication support Strong documentation and multitasking skills Customer-focused mindset in a structured environment Legal Notice By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
