Position Overview:
This position is responsible for receiving and shipping of inventory for the branch. This position is critical in the success of the branch operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of inventory through receiving all inventory items into the system, including transfers Inspect deliveries for correct items, quantities, and visible damage Unpack and stage items- sort and put inventory items away Manages the daily outbound freight- UPS, FedEx, Southeastern for customer orders and transfer shipments Conducts the branch cycle counts and works with manager on discrepancies Responsible for bin adjustments Works in conjunction with the manager on creating or deleting part numbers Runs inventory part reports for Branch Manager Manages warranty returns for all manufacturers excluding service items Assists with parts lookup Acts as a backup when necessary for the counter and answering phones
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of inventory management experience Strong attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot and research parts or products online (vendor sites, catalogs) Accurate data entry skills and experience using inventory management systems Capable of routinely lifting or moving inventory weighing up to 50 pounds
Skills & Competencies:
Demonstrable skills in inventory management systems. An openness to embrace new technological skills is essential A proven aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experiences A keenness to learn, adapt, and implement new technologies and mythologies Ability to multi task
