Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask. In addition to handling cash transactions, the Cashier will assist with catering orders and other tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service. Assist customers with menu selections and answer any questions. Handle customer complaints and inquiries with professionalism. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately. Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Support for
Catering Orders:
Assist in preparing and packaging catering orders. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Communicate with customers regarding catering details and special requests.
General Duties:
Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is a plus. Must possess a valid driver's license. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic math skills for cash handling. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
