Job Description

We are looking for a Member Services Representative to support a busy non-profit service environment in Durham, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating clearly, and staying organized while managing a high volume of inbound calls. The person in this role will provide responsive assistance to members, handle routine transactions accurately, and maintain strong service standards in a fast-paced call center setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming member calls promptly and provide courteous, solution-focused support.
  • Assist members with questions, service requests, and general account-related concerns while ensuring a positive experience.
  • Enter and update information accurately in computer systems while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Process payments and handle cash-related transactions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Document conversations, actions taken, and follow-up needs thoroughly to support service continuity.
  • Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume call center environment without compromising quality.
  • Type and navigate between systems effectively to complete inquiries and maintain accurate records.
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and coordinate with internal teams to help resolve member concerns.
