Based in Hendersonville, NC, Öhlins USA supports sales, Engineering, and distribution throughout North America.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused team member to join our Customer Sales Relations team supporting the motorcycle market. This position is responsible for providing specialized customer support for motorcycle suspension products, including assisting customers with technical questions, troubleshooting, order processing, and product guidance. A strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn and understand suspension systems are essential for success in this role. The role will also support adjacent Öhlins markets as needed to ensure strong overall customer coverage.
Location:
On-Site Hendersonville, NC, No Remote Opportunity Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Handle customer inquiries related to motorcycle suspension products, as well as adjacent Ohlins products, through various channels including phone, email, and chat.
Technical Support:
Provide technical assistance to customers, including guidance on product setup, usage, and troubleshooting of suspension systems.
Product Expertise:
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's suspension product line, including specifications, features, and benefits. Stay informed about industry trends and product updates.
Order Management:
Assist with order placement, processing, tracking, and handling of returns or exchanges.
Issue Resolution:
Address customer complaints and issues, resolving them efficiently or escalating to the appropriate department when necessary.
Customer Education:
Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of suspension products to enhance their experience and product longevity.
Documentation:
Record customer interactions and maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and customer feedback.
Support Market Sales Manager:
This position will work closely with and in support of the efforts of the Motorcycle sales manager.
Collaboration:
Work in coordination with other departments such as technical support, sales, and product development to provide comprehensive customer service.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in customer service processes and contribute to the enhancement of team performance.
Multi-Market Assistance:
Support adjacent product markets, including automotive and bicycle, to ensure comprehensive customer coverage and team support. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred, ideally within the motorcycle, powersports, or suspension industry Familiarity with motorcycle suspension systems and components Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn product specifications, suspension systems, and troubleshooting processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective problem-solving and customer service skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer service-related systems/tool
