Job Description

About us Gastonia Pediatric Associates is a well established private practice in Gastonia, NC. We are customer-centric, team oriented work environment with high standards for patient care and patient experience. We have been serving three generations of families for over 65 years in our surrounding communities. We take great pride in our standards, worth ethic and strong culture of supporting each other as a cohesive team.. Position Duties Include any combination of these skills:
  • Triage Patients
  • Minor Lab testing on patients and administration of vaccines
  • Ensure efficient patient care flow with providers and manage appointment scheduling
  • Maintain and update patient records, including filing and organizing medical documents
  • Handle phone systems and ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained with incoming and outgoing calls
  • Greeting patients, checking patients in/out, and addressing billing inquiries and client concerns
  • Coordinate calendar management for Medical Providers and staff
  • Ensure compliance with medical office and state/federal privacy policies
Qualifications:
  • Experience with incoming patient calls and appointment scheduling
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems, Nextgen is currently in use
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and professional language use during communications
  • Exceptional professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and accuracy as a professional
  • Professional appearance, behavior and language

$17.50
