This role is responsible for handling sales inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and managing data entry and organizational tasks.
Essential Job Functions:
Must effectively carry out the essential duties and responsibilities of this position in a manner that consistently demonstrates Morganton Pressure Vessels core values in a positive manner. Other duties may be assigned. 1.
Sales and Customer Care:
Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information. Assist customers in the sales process, guiding them through product options and purchasing decisions. Handle order processing, including order entry and tracking. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. 2.
Customer Communication:
Communicate with customers via phone and email. Address customer concerns, inquiries, and feedback promptly and professionally. Provide after-sales support and assistance, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. 3.
Shipping and Logistics:
Coordinate and monitor the shipment of products to ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with the warehouse team to organize and manage inventory. Track shipments and update customers on delivery status. 4.
Organization and Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and transactions. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Collaborate with team members to improve overall efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). Willingness to learn AS400 - LoocUp software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ability to work in both hot/humid and cold environments occasionally. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS 1.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods. Capacity to move and walk around the inspection site. 2.
Lifting and Carrying:
Capability to lift and carry testing equipment, tools, and materials used in the inspection process. This may include lifting objects weighing up to a maximum of 40 pounds. 3.
Manual Dexterity:
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for manipulating inspection tools and equipment with precision. 4.
Visual Acuity:
Good vision, including the ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and inspection records. Visual acuity to identify defects, anomalies, or non-conformities during inspections. 5.
Safety Gear:
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and any other gear required for safety compliance. 6.
Temperature Tolerance:
The ability to work in varying temperatures.
Travel:
This position requires up to 0% local travel.
