Client Service Representative

Experienced client service representative to join our fabulous team in a new facility in Wesley Chapel, NC. State of the art medicine with intimate, family atmosphere. Emphasis on patient care, client education, innovative thinking and team approach. Fun, friendly, and energetic team. Candidate must possess warm, friendly, and professional demeanor with the ability to multi-task and keep up in this busy hospital. This is not an entry level position and candidate must have a minimum of one year experience as a receptionist. Experience in an animal hospital is a plus. Part-time position with morning and evening shifts.

Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for providing effective assistance to veterinarians in all aspects of patient care and client service by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of animal medical care and company products and services

Qualifications Required:

High School diploma or its equivalent One year proficiency in customer service

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Welcoming clients and patients to the practice and providing for their comfort while they are in the practice. This includes greeting clients warmly, using their name and the pet's name, and showing them to a clean exam room. Obtaining historical information and medical background of patients from clients and entering information into medical records thoroughly. Effectively communicating services and products offered and recommended by the veterinarians. Cleaning up and Disposing of animal eliminations and animal remains. Extensive cleaning of hospital and equipment demonstrating appropriate disinfecting techniques. Answering telephones, scheduling appointments, performing phone triage of emergencies. Handling emergency situations, remaining calm while showing empathy and compassion. Checking out clients, reviewing details of invoices with clients and obtaining payment. Inputting services provided and products obtained into invoices and ensuring invoice accuracy for all patients. Effectively communicating details and collect necessary information for wellness plans. Educating clients on responsible pet care. Performing end of day transactions. Appointment reminder calls, filing, faxing, receiving and sending packages, cleaning and maintenance of reception area, as well as ordering of office supplies. Appropriately filling prescriptions and over the counter medications. Performing general hospital maintenance as requested. Following established security protocols, including locking and unlocking of doors and setting the alarm to ensure the safety and security of patients, team members, and the facility. Basic word processing proficiency .• Properly handling and storing samples. Performing other related duties as assigned.•
