Administrative Assistant /
Showroom Support Location:
Cashion Fishing Rods Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Some weekend availability may be required during trade show season and local events with advance notice.
Pay:
$15-$20/hour depending on experience

Paid Time Off (PTO) About the Role We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at our fishing rod manufacturing company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed. The right candidate is personable, organized, dependable, and comfortable interacting with customers throughout the day. This position combines office administration, customer service, showroom support, event coordination, and operational support. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom Provide showroom tours and product information Help process and fill customer orders Perform general office and administrative tasks File paperwork and maintain organized records Create and send invoices Track and manage inventory levels Maintain showroom inventory and presentation Assist with human resources and employee support tasks Help coordinate company events, trade shows, and event planning Attend local events and trade shows when needed Identify ways to improve office organization and overall functionality Perform light housekeeping in common areas and showroom spaces Assist the shipping department when needed Support team members across departments as needed Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable talking with customers throughout the day Detail-oriented and highly organized Self-starter with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and team-first mindset Motivated and willing to take initiative Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities Reliable and dependable Basic computer and office software skills preferred Previous administrative, retail, customer service, HR, or inventory experience is a plus What We're Looking For We value people who: Take pride in doing a good job Are willing to help wherever needed Put the success of the team first Bring energy, professionalism, and initiative to work every day Look for ways to improve systems and help the business operate more efficiently If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a hands-on team environment, we'd love to hear from you.
