AEMC Instruments:
We are a well-established world-leader in test and measurement instrumentation. We design and manufacture professional electrical test and measurement instruments for the industrial, commercial and utility marketplace. Specifically, our full product line includes clamp-on meters, transformer ratiometers, power quality meters, harmonic power meters, data loggers, megohmmeter, ground testers, oscilloscopes, cable testers and numerous other electrical test instruments.
Primary Purpose:
Our headquarters in Dover, NH is seeking an individual whose primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional customer service through the timely and accurate processing of orders, clear and effective communication with customers, and collaboration with internal departments to resolve inquiries and support overall business operations.
Essential Functions:
Customer Service Representative-Sales:
Answer customer phone calls to provide information about orders, products, and services. Process distributor, service, and OEM orders accurately within the company ERP/computer system. Expedite orders and coordinate timely release to shipping. Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt follow-up and resolution. Serve as back-up support for other Customer Service Representatives as needed. Maintain knowledge of product lines, pricing, lead times, drop-ship items, marketing promotions, and related information. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful order completion and customer satisfaction. Contact customers to ascertain data omitted on orders. Assist customers with repair requests, returns, and related documentation. Work closely with OEM Planner. Prepare and maintain Demo paperwork. Maintain and update customer account information and records. Process credit card for parts orders. Generate and distribute various reports as required. Route customers call the appropriate department or personnel. Participate in the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures. Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirement:
Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying.
Minimum experience:
1 year
Education:
High School Diploma Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook/email Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proper English grammar and business correspondence Professional and courteous telephone manners. Strong to operate standard office equipment, including telephone systems, printers, scanners, and copiers Good organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
