  • Full-time, Contract We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles and mechanical systems.
The ideal candidate has advanced technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting abilities, and professional certification such as credentials from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). The Master Mechanic will ensure all repairs meet safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and company quality guidelines. Key Responsibilities Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems Perform routine maintenance services and inspections Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins Supervise and mentor junior technicians Maintain accurate repair records and documentation Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly to service advisors or customers Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree preferred) 5+ years of automotive repair experience Master-level certification (ASE or equivalent preferred) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools Valid driver's license Proven experience in estimating, cost analysis, or service writing Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications (if applicable) Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage multiple estimates under deadlines
