Job Description

The Challenge Printing Company , established in 1911, is the premier provider of printed packaging components to the pharmaceutical industry. With a legacy of excellence, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and services that meet the strictest industry standards. We are seeking a proactive Customer Support Representative to join our Clifton NJ team. This in-person role is integral to maintaining and strengthening our client relationships through excellent communication, responsive service, and coordination with internal teams. As the direct point of contact between Challenge Printing and our valued clients, you will help ensure seamless and responsive customer experience, from day-to-day support to high-pressure product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the communication bridge between clients and internal teams (technical, quality, and operations). Foster strong relationships across client departments to promote our service-oriented business model. Manage all transactional aspects of client relationships, including processing orders and handling urgent needs. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities or potential issues within client accounts. Track and monitor incoming business volumes to ensure we meet or exceed expectations. Represent the company professionally during client site visits and meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be within commuting distance to Clifton, NJ. Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday from 9am - 5PM Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (local and air travel). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software is a plus. Previous B2B customer support experience is strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of customer service or account management experience Experience working in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, medical, or food packaging. Familiarity with ERP or order management systems Knowledge of printing and packaging processes is a strong plus.
