Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to enhance sales Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store looks inviting and well-maintained Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cash register balancing and transaction documentation Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support grocery store operations by ensuring proper product placement, inventory management, and stock replenishment Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions confidently Previous supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Ability to communicate clearly in both English and another language (bilingual skills) to serve diverse customer needs Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and patience in busy environments Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices Effective upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that meet customer needs Excellent phone etiquette coupled with strong interpersonal communication skills for engaging with customers both in person and over the phone This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail expertise in a fast-paced environment.
