1340 About the Job Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is currently seeking a Client Services Representative (CSR) to join our Primary Care team for both full-time and part-time roles. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets while supporting a fast-paced veterinary environment. As a key member of the front desk team, you will deliver professional, personalized service in person, over the phone, and via email while collaborating closely with doctors, technicians, and leadership to ensure a seamless client experience. Life:
A day at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital starts before you even walk through the doors. As you drive onto our beautiful working farm campus, you are greeted by some of the animals that make our hospital such a unique place to work including longhorns, emus, goats, pigs, and geese are all part of the experience. It is not your average trip into work, and that is just the beginning. Forgot your coffee or breakfast on the way in? No problem. Our team enjoys access to a fully stocked breakfast bar along with free snacks available on site for staff, helping you start the day fueled and ready. Once your shift begins, you will step into a welcoming, team-oriented primary care environment where your role is essential to creating a positive client experience. A typical day may include greeting clients and their pets, answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing check-ins and check-outs, handling medical records, and ensuring clear communication between clients and the veterinary team. Throughout the day, you will play a key role in building lasting relationships with clients and helping every visit run smoothly from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients with compassion, professionalism, and efficiency Manage client check-ins and check-outs, including appointment coordination and scheduling Manage a high volume of multi-line phone calls while providing exceptional service and responding to client inquiries via phone and email Assist clients with hospital admissions, financial discussions, deposits, and expectations Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records Communicate client needs, concerns, and questions to doctors and support staff Process medical records requests, pet insurance documentation, faxes, and scanned files Support front desk organization, cleanliness, and overall hospital appearance Participate in department training, meetings, and continuing education opportunities Assist Primary Care management as directed Collaborate with team members to provide a positive, efficient client experience Qualifications Minimum 1 year of client service experience required Veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred Experience with EzyVet and/or Vet Radar is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations Detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
