Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team! In this vital role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to every customer while efficiently handling transactions and supporting daily store operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping experience, including product demos when needed Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support stocking activities by organizing inventory and ensuring shelves are replenished efficiently Assist in supervising team members during busy periods, helping ensure smooth store operations Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is highly desirable Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings is a plus Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are beneficial for engaging diverse customers Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction balancing Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques to boost sales performance Join us to deliver outstanding customer service while developing your skills in a dynamic retail environment.
