MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY WORKED IN A SMOKE SHOP.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate at our smoke shop. As a vital member of our retail operation, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring the smooth operation of inventory management.

Responsibilities:

MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY WORKED IN A SMOKE SHOP.

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products. Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability. Recommend merchandise based on customers' preferences and needs. Handle customer complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism. Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience.

Cashier Duties:

Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. Scan goods and collect payments from customers. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Ensure pricing is accurate and promotions are clearly displayed. Resolve customer issues and escalate problems to management as needed.

Inventory Management:

Receive, unpack, and label incoming inventory. Stock shelves and ensure all merchandise is neatly arranged. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock situations to management. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Assist in ordering merchandise and maintaining optimal stock levels.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a retail or customer service position preferred. Basic math and computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge or interest in smoke shop products (preferred but not required).
