The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple tasks effectively, solves problems creatively, communicates well with team members, and delivers excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. This position plays a vital role in the company's success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Answer incoming customer calls.
- Use dispatch software to assign trucks to customers.
- Document customer interactions accurately.
- Assist drivers in troubleshooting issues.
- Evaluate the safety of roadside situations.
- Ensure all call details, notes, pricing, and customer information are entered accurately in the dispatch system.
- Provide timely and accurate dispatch support to customers and drivers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of dispatch experience preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must live near the assigned area.
