Position Summary Answers voter calls related to the signature cure process, provides clear procedural information, documents calls, and completes related data entry while maintaining confidentiality and nonpartisan conduct. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from voters regarding signature cure notices, deadlines, status, acceptable next steps, and general process questions within approved scripts and guidance. Verify caller information only according to County procedures and protect confidential voter data at all times. Enter call notes, status updates, follow-up actions, and data changes accurately in designated systems. Identify urgent, complex, escalated, language-access, accessibility, or unusual voter issues and route them to the appropriate lead. Provide courteous, patient, and nonpartisan service during potentially time-sensitive or stressful calls. Assist with outbound follow-up, voicemail, email, document review, or overflow data-entry tasks as assigned. Maintain adherence to scripts, FAQs, escalation rules, and County-approved information only. Required Skills and Competencies Good judgment and decision-making when applying call guidance and escalation criteria. Clear verbal communication, active listening, patience, and professional customer service. Attention to detail and proficient computer skills for accurate real-time data entry. Team-oriented approach and ability to remain calm during high call volume. Nonpartisan conduct and respect for voter privacy. Minimum Qualifications and Compliance Requirements Background check and drug screening required before assignment. Registered Clark County voter and willing to disclose political affiliation if required for the assignment. Must complete required hotline, confidentiality, voter-service, and systems training before taking calls. Schedule and Working Conditions Call center or office environment involving phone use, computer work, sitting for extended periods, and high-volume call queues. Call volume may increase sharply near statutory deadlines and Election Day. Must be available to work through the election cycle with limited requested days off. Must be available for schedule needs that may include 8-10 hour shifts, weekends, flexible start and end times, overtime, and extended hours on specific event days, especially Election Day. Must remain reliable, punctual, and responsive to assignment changes during a fast-paced, deadline-driven election environment. Must follow County security rules, workplace policies, chain-of-custody expectations, confidentiality requirements, dress code, and professional conduct standards. Performance Expectations Completes assigned work accurately, on time, and in accordance with training and County procedures. Maintains nonpartisan conduct, voter confidentiality, ballot security, and respectful service at all times. Escalates exceptions, voter issues, equipment concerns, safety concerns, and unclear instructions promptly to the designated supervisor or lead. Accurately documents work performed, materials handled, calls received, records updated, and/or batch activity as applicable to the assignment.
