Summary:
Addresses member inquiries, questions, and concerns related to IRA/CD distributions, transfers, and death claims to ensure member satisfaction. Prepares and distributes notifications, letters and forms, and enters all required information and transactions into appropriate systems, programs and logs. Education and/or
Experience:
A high school education or GED required Minimum one year general work experience required One year of banking experience and familiarity with Debit Card related laws/regulations/reporting requirements, banking policies, procedures, practices, protocols, systems and programs preferred Oral/written communication, mathematical, problem-solving, multitasking and internet skills and excellent telephone etiquette required Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required
Job Responsibilities:
Verify IRA withdrawal forms and transfer requests and follow up with branch staff/members to resolve issues Review deposit tickets for IRA contributions to verify amounts and tax year Calculate and establish required minimum distributions (RMDs), ensure that member accounts are properly noted, and ensure accuracy Verify maturity letters and premature redemption forms and calculate interest, dividends and penalties to ensure accuracy and proper posting. Reverse penalties as approved, enter corrections into the GL and department systems, and set up payments in the system according to member instructions. Maintain the check printer, verify the calculated total of printed checks matches the amount in the system generated report, and investigate/resolve discrepancies Prepare agreements for new certificates and send copies of agreements to members for signature Research competitor's rates, special promotions, update the rate comparison spreadsheet and update rates in the system on a regular basis Maintains department files and prepares reports Identifies opportunities to upsell additional products and tracks prospect interactions in system Complete applications for retail products/services Perform other duties as needed upon request from immediate supervisor Benefits of Joining the

This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
