The UPS Store is a network of individually owned and operated franchised service-centers specializing in small business solutions. Our organization consists of 3 locations in Nassau County. Working for The UPS Store is a very rewarding experience. The Sales Associate advises our customers on our array of products, services, and best-value options. RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries Takes ownership of customers' packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership Helps with other Center functions as needed, such as faxing, copying, laminating, and binding Maintains strong attention to detail when proofing all transactions and materials Collaborate with management to stay updated on new products, services, and policies Expertly operates POS System Maintains a clean and safe working environment May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day close processes Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required Retail experience Good communication skills Friendly and genuinely helpful conduct with a professional appearance Must be practical, flexible, action oriented, passionate, team player Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites, a major plus Prompt, dependable, and accountable Able to lift 40 pounds
