Customer Experience Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Customer Experience / Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their purchases. Your ability to maintain stock levels, manage sales transactions, and effectively communicate with customers will be essential to your success in this position. Candidates with electrical / plumbing / HVAC experience preferred. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need. Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system. Maintain and organize stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are readily available for customers. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and product pricing. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly. Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Market promotions and new products to customers to drive sales growth. Requirements Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred. Proficiency in Excel for inventory tracking and reporting purposes. Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with a diverse customer base. Strong understanding of retail math concepts for accurate pricing and inventory management. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while managing multiple tasks effectively.
