We offer personal and commercial insurance products and pride ourselves on responsiveness, expertise, and professionalism. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Personal Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our service team. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, assisting with policy servicing, billing inquiries, claims support, and coverage questions while helping ensure an exceptional client experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding policies, coverage, billing, and claims in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations
  • Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up as needed
  • Review policies with clients and explain coverage details clearly
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and transactions
  • Coordinate with carriers, underwriters, and internal team members
  • Identify cross-sell and account-rounding opportunities when appropriate Qualifications
  • 1-3+ years of customer service experience (insurance experience preferred)
  • Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe)
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and policy structures is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems Preferred Skills
  • Experience in an independent agency environment
  • Familiarity with carrier portals and AMS/CRM platforms
  • Ability to explain complex policy details in simple, client-friendly terms Compensation & Benefits
