Job Description
United Central Station has Immediate Openings for central station dispatchers to join our team in Plainview, NY. We are a 24/7/365 call center/emergency response dispatch Currently seeking full and part-time applicants for the overnight shift (11pm to 7am). Weekends and holidays are a must.

!! We're looking for individuals who prioritize accuracy, work well in high-pressure situations, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Responders should have the ability to quickly assess incoming emergency calls and accurately determine the type of service required to provide the best response. Applicants should have demonstrated an ability to remain calm and focused while working with emergency services personnel and will be responsible for entering vital information into a computer system that is used to dispatch emergency services personnel. Responsibilities primarily include answering inbound calls; dispatching authorities for security and fire alarms; contacting clients to notify them of alarms; logging and noting results of dispatches; some data entry tasks setting up or modifying new/existing accounts. Qualified candidates will be energetic, professional, possess customer service skills, and have the desire to succeed. Strong communication and computer skills are a requirement. Applicants must be dependable and punctual, and must have reliable transportation to and from work. Currently seeking full and part-time applicants for the overnight shift (11pm to 7am). Weekends and holidays are a must.
