Service Advisor

Automotive Service Advisor Garvey Hyundai of Plattsburgh is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated Service Advisor to join our high-performing, customer-focused service department. Position Overview:

As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and service technicians. You will be responsible for building relationships, recommending services, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience from check-in to vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers promptly and professionally Accurately document vehicle concerns and service needs Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle condition Prepare estimates and explain services clearly and confidently Communicate effectively with technicians and parts department Keep customers informed throughout the repair process Ensure timely follow-up and high levels of customer satisfaction Handle warranty and service documentation accurately

Requirements:

1-3 years of automotive service experience (dealership experience preferred) Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask under pressure Proficiency with Windows PC and Microsoft Office Valid driver's license (must be able to drive a manual transmission) Reliable transportation Available references Positive work ethic and team-player mindset Monday - Friday schedule, 40 hours a week

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Service Advisor/Writer experience Strong technical and computer skills
