Job Description

Brennan Buick GMC is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Writer/Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, utilizing your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and customer service to ensure efficient vehicle maintenance services. Our Service Advisors enjoy people AND solving problems! Customers come to you with their automotive needs and you get to make their day! This role is both mentally and physically demanding--energy is extremely important to succeed in this role. Service Advisor must be able to work well under pressure and handle the fast-paced work environment with a smile to ensure the customer's experience is always 5-stars. We value a team-first mindset—someone who communicates clearly, stays focused, and maintains professionalism in all situations. Success in this role requires emotional maturity, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. We run a high-performance, no-nonsense environment—professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude are non-negotiable.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly, both in-person and over the phone. Obtain customer and vehicle information Clearly report all vehicle symptoms to technician as described by the customer Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history. Prepare and complete accurate estimates for cost of Parts & Labor Establish follow-up time Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently. Verify final invoices, ensuring they reconcile with work performed on the repair order. Inform customers of additional services that can be provided, as needed, at the time of their visit. Explain all completed work and charges to the customer Conduct a next-day follow-up with customers
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-years experience in a service advisory role preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude A valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Quality of Work Expected:
Must have commitment to detail and accuracy Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple duties simultaneously, and demonstrate strong time management skills. Must be professional and dependable Must be committed to service excellence Must use effective communication with both colleagues and customers
Position Hours:
7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday Starting pay is $24/hour with the opportunity to earn commission. PLUS, the opportunity to earn a monthly team bonus for customer satisfaction.
