Job Description
Hudson Valley Chimney is a family-owned and operated company that has proudly served the Hudson Valley since 1976. Each fall, our phones become extremely busy as homeowners prepare their fireplaces, wood stoves, and chimneys for the heating season. We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized Seasonal Customer Service Representative to help support our office during our busiest months. We are especially interested in finding someone who would enjoy returning each year for our September-November busy season. What You'll Do Answer incoming customer calls Schedule service appointments Assist customers with questions about our services Confirm upcoming appointments Enter customer information into our scheduling software Respond to emails and text messages Support the office team with administrative tasks Help maintain an exceptional customer experience What We're Looking For Excellent phone and communication skills Friendly, professional, and positive attitude Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency Dependable attendance and punctuality Previous customer service or office experience preferred This position is perfect for: Retirees looking for seasonal work Parents returning to the workforce Teachers or school staff seeking fall employment College students with flexible schedules Anyone interested in recurring seasonal employment Why Work With Us?
