Overview We are looking for a friendly and energetic Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling transactions, answering questions, and ensuring everyone has a positive experience. SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS
Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process customer transactions efficiently. Greet customers warmly, providing friendly and helpful service throughout their visit. Manage cash handling with attention to detail, ensuring correct change and receipt issuance. Assist customers and answer questions by answering questions about store items or menu offerings. Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and organizing products for easy access. Upsell products or menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries, ensuring clear communication. Qualifications Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and merchandising is beneficial. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced grocery or retail store environment while maintaining excellent customer service. A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn new skills are essential.
