Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a Service Advisor for our truck and trailer shop. This role combines customer service, basic vehicle diagnosis, and invoicing . You will communicate directly with customers, identify their truck or trailer issues, recommend solutions, coordinate repairs with technicians, and manage invoices for completed services. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, technically curious, and able to explain vehicle problems and costs clearly to customers. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person Listen to customer-reported issues and gather relevant vehicle information Assess and diagnose basic truck and trailer problems, consulting with technicians as needed Advise customers on recommended solutions and repair options Coordinate with service technicians to schedule repairs and communicate progress to customers Prepare and manage invoices for completed services and parts Keep accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle issues, service recommendations, and invoices Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction after service completion Maintain a professional and helpful relationship with all customers Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of truck and trailer mechanics Ability to listen carefully and identify customer concerns Problem-solving mindset to recommend appropriate solutions Organized and detail-oriented when managing customer records and invoices Comfortable using service software, spreadsheets, or invoicing systems Ability to remain calm and professional with all customers Requirements 5+ year of experience in trucking and trailer Experience handling invoices or billing for services Familiarity with truck/trailer parts, maintenance, and common issues Strong customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and proactive work ethic This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering outstanding automotive care while advancing your career within the industry.
