Job Description
SUMMARY Ensure customers receive maximum service through efficient order processing and careful coordination of services provided by other appropriate Marlite personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide service between customers, business development managers and the company via verbal and written communication. Provide customer service i.e., pricing, receives orders via emails or fax Enter data from source documents into computer. Identifies and interprets data to be entered and verifies its accuracy. Enters necessary codes and ensures prompt, accurate and efficient processing of customer orders received Communicates the anticipated order completion and shipping dates, the progress of orders, or changes to orders to the customer. Problem solves customer complaints for appropriate remedy or clearly communicates issue(s) to the appropriate manager for proper and immediate investigation. Obtains information in response to inquiries or special requests, (i.e. product application or technical information) and relays answers to customers or routes inquiry to appropriate team personnel. Maintains current pricing and technical knowledge on Marlite products. Performs miscellaneous duties as requested by customers or the customer service manager.QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma with 1 year customer service experience. Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret order requirements/instructions. Ability to write routine correspondence, i.e. literature requests. Ability to speak effectively with customers or other team members of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to effectively operate a computer to accurately and efficiently enter data. Good communication skills and proper telephone techniques.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
