Job Description

Clinic Hours Wednesday 10am-4pm Thursday 10am-8pm Friday 10am-8pm Saturday 8am-4pm Overview PetVetWell is a walk-in, locally-owned, community-focused veterinary wellness clinic dedicated to keeping furry family members healthy through accessible and affordable preventive care . We believe every pet deserves quality wellness services, and we work hard to make that care easy and affordable for clients. We're currently looking for a friendly and dependable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team and be the welcoming face of our clinic.
Position Summary:
As the first point of contact for clients, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in delivering a positive, informative, and compassionate experience for every pet owner. The CSR is responsible for managing client communication, scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and processing payments. A key part of this role is educating clients about our affordable wellness care options , helping them make informed decisions about their pets' preventive health needs. Because we are a wellness-focused clinic, the CSR will also help clients understand the scope of services we provide. While we do treat minor illnesses , when a pet presents with signs of a more serious illness or emergency, the CSR will help direct calls and clients to the appropriate facility for urgent or emergent care, ensuring every pet gets the right level of support in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally upon arrival Answer phone calls and emails, and assist with client inquiries Check-in walk-in clients and follow-up visits accurately and efficiently Educate clients about our affordable wellness care options , including vaccination packages, preventive care plans, and ongoing health services Manage and update patient records and client information in our system Process invoices, accept payments, and maintain accurate daily financial records Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming Support the veterinary team as needed Handle client concerns professionally and escalate issues appropriately Qualifications Previous experience in customer service (veterinary, medical, or pet-related preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassion for animals and understanding of pet owners' needs Comfortable discussing cost-effective care options with clients in a clear, respectful manner Comfortable redirecting illnesses Basic computer skills; experience with veterinary software is a plus Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependability and a strong work ethic Must be able to lift 40+ pounds
