Our Customer Service Representatives are insurance professionals who delight customers every day by providing exceptional, personalized customer service. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Maintains regular attendance. Develop positive working relationships with clients. Approach clients via phone (calls to prospective customers who have not been contacted before) and direct mail to inquire about their insurance situations and future needs. They must speak clearly and persuasively and maintain their composure if rejected. Seek out new customers to increase sales. Communicate effectively with customers by listening to their requests and cross-selling. Involves clerical responsibilities such as processing new client accounts, maintaining customer accounts, implementing changes to existing accounts, and filing documents and other paperwork. Respond to clients' questions and complaints. Follow up with clients after initial meetings or conversations. Meet business production goals and objectives as established. Be a team player that wants to be a part of something bigger than just his/her job. Participate in continuing education programs in both insurance and sales. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. Sales Experience. Must be organized, able to multi-task, and efficient. Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable. Demonstrated timely, consistent job attendance history. Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills. Ability to explain complex issues and concepts to customers so that they understand them fully. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume office setting at times. Strong Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Agency Management Software, Quoting Software).
