Branch Manager Position Summary:
Lead Tellers are able to handle a variety of tasks including providing excellent customer service in all customer interactions, helping to resolve customer concerns, following procedures to minimize errors and reduce fraud, processing account transactions effectively. Lead Tellers work under limited supervision, assist with workflow to ensure tellers are successful, consistently balance their cash daily, have great rapport with people, and enjoy helping others while maintaining ethics, integrity, and embracing diversity.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Sales:
Handles complex customer inquiries or complaints, processes complex transactions, and identifies opportunities to refer customers to appropriate staff as indicated.
Operational Excellence:
Cashes checks, savings withdrawals and makes cash advances; confirms all necessary documents are properly authorized, are in proper form and are within authorized limits; makes decisions when questionable items are presented for cashing.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent; and two to three years of experience as a teller; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven customer support experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. Basic Office Machine Operation Skills, Printers, Scanners, Copiers, Fax, postage machine, etc.
