The Position Job TitleInsurance Personal Lines Customer Service Agent Job Description SUMMARY The primary role of a personal lines customer service agent is to assist our customers. This position is essential in maintaining our current customers and directly affects our policy and premium retention rates. This position is also considered support staff for our sales agents.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

FUNCTIONS
) Service Personal Lines Book of Business Endorsements Billing/payments (monthly installments, questions & mortgage down payments) Claims Renewal Tracking Cancellation tracking and process (pending and cancelled) Underwriting issues on policies Remarkets Quote account rounds for existing PL business Secondary in issuing PL Business Policies Backup for support and quoting new business
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES
Primary in answering incoming calls Distribute mail when needed

Education and Work Experience College degree preferred Industry knowledge preferred Insurance License preferred Obtain and maintain applicable licensing Technical/Functional Competencies Proficient in PC operating systems Microsoft office Carrier websites Agency management system Comparative rater DocuSign RightFax This position follows a 41 workweek and is an inoffice role based in our Plano, Texas office. Employees are expected to be onsite four days per week and may work remotely one day per week.
