About Us River Valley Veterinary Clinic is a mixed-animal veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional care for our patients and outstanding service for their owners. Our Customer Service Representatives play a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and compassionate experience for every client who walks through our doors or calls for assistance. About the Position This is more than a receptionist position. As a CSR, you will help pet owners navigate everything from routine appointments to medical emergencies and difficult life moments. You'll work closely with doctors, nurses, and fellow CSRs to keep the clinic running smoothly while providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in being a dependable member of a team. What You'll Do Greet clients professionally and warmly, both in person and over the phone Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule Recognize and appropriately prioritize urgent and emergency situations Maintain accurate client, patient, and billing records Generate invoices, explain charges, and process payments Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and the medical team Help maintain an organized, welcoming front office environment What We're Looking For A genuine love of animals and compassion for their owners Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Emotional resilience and professionalism during stressful situations Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude Ability to work collaboratively with a team Previous veterinary, healthcare, hospitality, banking, education, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
