Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hybrid Service Operator to join our Fulfillment team. This role involves operating various machinery and equipment, including 26ft box trucks, within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards. As well as providing on-time delivery and service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess experience working in manufacturing or factory settings and past driving / delivery experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in delivery and customer relations to advance their careers in a dynamic facility. Responsibilities Route & Customer Service Operate company delivery vehicles (trailer, box truck, cargo van) to complete scheduled routes. Production & Processing Unload, weigh, and separate client materials for processing. Wash, dry, and reclaim items such as sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, and mats. Feed and monitor machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation. Identify and set aside damaged, dirty, or mixed linens. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including workstation and equipment sanitation. Assist in maintaining proper account identification of processed linens. Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors. Deliver on time and have good customer facing attitude. General Provide superior customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Meet production and delivery deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Work collaboratively with team members but remain capable of performing duties independently. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Deliver and pick up carts of customer linens in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Validate deliveries by reconciling carts and collecting signed delivery tickets. Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; maintain fuel and mileage logs. Maintain vehicles in clean and safe condition, reporting maintenance concerns promptly. Communicate with customers and the Facilities Manager regarding any service or route concerns. Adhere to DOT regulations, company driving policies, and safety procedures. Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license (Class D) and current medical card.
  • At least 2 years of driving/delivery experience preferred.
  • 3+ months of commercial laundry, hospitality, or related production experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass driving record, drug screen, and background check.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and push/pull carts up to 500 lbs.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme conditions.
  • Ability to meet performance goals and work under deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
