Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Customer Service Specialist Job Summary Responsible for providing customer service and support to patients and families. This role will respond to customer inquiries, provide information regarding accounts and services, and assist in resolving customer concerns in a professional and timely manner. Customer Service Specialist Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to patients and family members. Respond to patient account and service inquiries by phone and email. Assist patients with billing questions and account information. Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as needed. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions. Document customer interactions accurately and efficiently. Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure timely issue resolution. Perform additional duties as assigned. Customer Service Specialist Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of previous hospital patient financial experience strongly preferred. Hospital collections experience strongly preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
