Job Description
The Customer Care Representative Trainer is responsible for assisting in implementing and maintaining best practices for scheduling, registration, and insurance verification functions, training new hires, and training staff on new implementations and processes. Identifies system and process issues in Patient Access. Acts as a resource person for caregivers and other departments as needed.
Job Requirements Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to:
Must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and human relation skills. Ability to travel to all CMH Hospital and Clinic sites on short notice. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to present and interpret qualitative and quantitative data in a concise and effective manner. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Effective in training individuals with varying communication styles, levels of experience, and learning preferences. Identifies and utilizes appropriate patient experience and performance improvement methodologies. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable using electronic databases. License/Certification Preference may be given to individuals with CHAM or CHAA through NAHAM. Patient Access and/or Revenue Cycle relevant certification from a nationally recognized healthcare credentialing organization within one year of date of hire. Education and/or Experience Experience teaching adult learners preferred. Two years' experience in Patient Access or Healthcare Business Office with education/training responsibility. Bachelor's degree preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance This position involves long periods of standing walking, stooping, occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 30 pounds) sitting for extended periods of time. This position requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers, hand and finger dexterity, and hand/eye coordination to use a computer keyboard and other common office equipment.Location:
