Overview Join our dynamic powersports team as a Service Writer-Lite Mechanic, where your enthusiasm for powersports and customer service will drive success! In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring smooth communication and efficient service delivery. Your energetic approach will help create a positive experience for every customer, guiding them through their vehicle maintenance needs with clarity and confidence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend powersports knowledge with exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their unit concerns and service needs Write detailed service orders and estimates, clearly outlining recommended repairs and maintenance tasks Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, suspension work, and more Upsell additional services or repairs by explaining benefits and value to customers while maintaining transparency Maintain thorough records of all service activities, estimates, and customer interactions Assist in vehicle diagnostics by understanding basic mechanical issues and communicating findings effectively to customers Skills Proven dealership experience background with a strong understanding of diagnostics and repair procedures Mechanical knowledge-wiring, troubleshooting Experience in service writing to generate accurate quotes and invoices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Ability to upsell services confidently while ensuring customer satisfaction Familiarity with repair processes This role is perfect for individuals passionate about powersports who thrive on delivering exceptional service. your mechanical knowledge combined with excellent communication skills will make you an invaluable part of our team.
