We are currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. (On-site position).
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints to ensure a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a service-oriented mindset to effectively assist customers across multiple channels.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Key Responsibilities:
Engage with customers via phone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and product informationProcess and enter customer orders for new or additional products and servicesAddress customer questions and concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate specialist or departmentEnsure timely resolution of customer problems and inquiriesMaintain customer accounts and interaction records, documenting inquiries, complaints, and commentsPerform additional related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Excel - Advanced skills required - V-Look-Up, Concatenate, Pivot TablesMRP/ERP experience strongly preferredAble to pivot quickly to address immediate needs and then able to pivot back to original tasksStrong communication skills, including active listeningService-oriented approach with the ability to resolve customer grievancesProficiency in computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn new softwareData entry accuracy is incredibly importantExcellent time management and efficiency in task completion
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious customer service experience required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computerAbility to lift up to 15 pounds as neededShields Manufacturing provides an extensive benefits package, including:
