Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities Manage incoming customer requests via email, phone and fax Process orders with accuracy and attention to detail: Prepare Purchase Orders for Direct Shipment Orders Prepare shipping documents for domestic/international orders Manage Blanket Orders Create Labels with Customer specific product information Work with sales staff to understand the customer product/service specifications for sales orders Maintaining Customer Files for accuracy of Pricing, Customer Contact information, etc. Communicate with Customers regarding their specific order requirements Communicate with Customers regarding any issues that may affect the on-time delivery of a product Coordinate with Purchasing to procure back ordered material Coordinate with Warehouses for shipment of orders. Work with Customer's Logistics Departments to arrange pick-up/shipment of orders Invoicing of orders Process Credits/Debits when necessary Coordinate with Team members to maintain work flow and provide high level of service in a fast-paced environment Experience Prior experience in distribution business preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and basic computer literacy. Experience with customer service roles that involve handling orders and inquiries via phone or email. Ability to work in both a Team environment as well as independently. Good communication skills. Ability to adapt and embrace change.

Pay:

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
