Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
The employee will support Supply Chain Team as well as act as the Customer Service & Procurement liaison between various market segments, additional locations, and the Downingtown Facility.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Safety at all times in all practices. Supply Chain Assistant (30%)
  • Prepare and process purchase orders for non-inventory items. Confirm pricing and delivery dates and coordinate with production manager. Relay any delays or issues to the team.
  • Assist with customer or vendor visits, meetings, etc...
  • Assist with employee functions
  • Cross train in Supply Chain team for backup coverage
  • Other duties as assigned Customer Service role (50%):
  • Continuous contact with customers to receive purchase orders
  • Process customer PO's in AS400 (KBM), confirm correct pricing, item codes, and delivery dates
  • Responsible to issue the invoice accurately once product ships and forward to customer.
  • Resolve lower-level customer disputes/complaints while maintaining communication with Manager & sales engineer
  • Work with accounting/production manager on correct pricing and demands
  • Review customer sales orders and demands for accuracy
  • Communicate with Production manager regarding shipments and schedule Procurement & Logistics role (20%):
  • Process Intercompany purchase orders to other locations
  • Review open purchase order reports against open purchase orders and revise as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and revise safety stocks as needed. Work with management team on demands.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement efficiency.
  • Occasionally spend time in production and shipping/receiving areas.

PPE. SCOPE/DIMENSIONS
This position reports to the Supply Chain & Administration Manager of AGT USA. The incumbent will liaise with all departments on site
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
  • HS diploma; AA degree or above a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel, (Experience with Microsoft 365 a Plus)
  • Familiarity with global sourcing and logistics a plus
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with good communication & follow-up skills.
  • Must maintain a clean and safe work area.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
