Job Description

Description Job Summary:
The Business Development Center Representative (BDC Rep) is responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer communications for the dealership. This position supports the sales departments by handling customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, maintaining customer records, and assisting in lead management activities. The BDC Representative serves as a primary point of contact between customers and the dealership and is expected to maintain professional communication standards while supporting dealership sales and customer retention objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Respond to incoming customer inquiries by phone, email, text message, and online lead sources Contact prospective and existing customers regarding vehicle availability, promotions, appointments, and follow-up communication Schedule and confirm appointments for sales and service departments Enter, update, and maintain accurate customer information within dealership CRM systems Follow dealership communication procedures and lead response standards Conduct outbound calls for unsold prospects, prior customers, missed appointments, and service reminders Communicate customer needs and appointment details to appropriate dealership personnel Maintain knowledge of dealership inventory, financing programs, products, and services Assist with customer satisfaction and retention efforts Meet established performance standards including response times, call activity, appointment setting, and follow-up completion Perform additional administrative or customer support duties as assigned by management
Requirements Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer proficiency and ability to use CRM and phone systems Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed Prior customer service, call center, automotive, RV, or dealership experience preferred but not required Experience with CRM software and lead management systems preferred Sales or appointment-setting experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
