Job Description

Position:
Rehab Repair Customer Service Tech Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Must have technical wheelchair experience
Summary:
The Rehab Repair/Customer Service Technician ensures seamless repair department operations by troubleshooting equipment issues, scheduling service routes, managing orders, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role combines technical expertise, administrative precision, and a customer-first mindset to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer equipment issues via phone, video (VR), or photo diagnostics.
  • Schedule and optimize daily routes for service technicians to ensure efficient operations.
  • Enter and track orders for replacement parts, ensuring timely procurement and accurate warranty or return authorization documentation.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests, collaborating with team members to enhance satisfaction and reduce turnaround times.
  • Communicate financial responsibilities clearly to customers and coordinate delivery, setup, exchange, or pickup of equipment and supplies.
  • Manage intake and follow-up for custom or technical rehab product orders, leveraging in-depth product knowledge. As well as work Brightree tasks.
  • Contact physicians' offices to obtain necessary documentation and maintain accurate data in the order processing system (e.g., Brightree).
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rehab equipment through approved seminars and educational programs.
  • Schedule special orders, negotiate pricing, and perform data entry, getting manufactures quotes, and reporting tasks.
  • Participate in overtime or after-hours duties as directed, including emergency response as needed.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
