Job Description

The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Wayne is seeking Client Intake Specialist/ Bookkeeper for full time position. The ideal applicant must be a team player, have excellent communication skills and be proficient in QuickBooks Pro, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Salary will be based on experience.
Client Intake Specialist Responsibilities:
Handle client intake processes, including data entry and appointment scheduling using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools Maintain accurate records through filing, proofreading documents, and data management
  • WX Client Intakes/system entry
  • Prepare and keep files organized for each program
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment setting, and correspondence Assist with customer support inquiries via phone, email, or in person with phone etiquette Perform clerical duties including typing, photocopying, emailing and organizing documents Ensure the office environment remains organized and professional at all times Provide administrative support as needed to team members or management
Bookkeeping Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  • Regularly maintain detailed records of accounting transactions.
  • Perform monthly bank settlements.
  • Stay compliant with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Use bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases proficiently.
  • Management of insurance policies & tax exempt paperwork (REV-1220) Strong knowledge of journal entries, budgeting, accounts receivable, debits and credits, general ledger reconciliation, and account reconciliation is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software is required; familiarity with various platforms is a plus. Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

From $17.00 per hour
