Job Description
Nexterus Inc.is a supply chain engineering and technology firm located in New Freedom, PA, that helps small and medium-sized companies effectively compete in today's global marketplace. We provide solutions to the most complex business issues in your supply chain. Nexterus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated International Customer Service Representative. If you are a reliable, energetic, team player with a strong work ethic, excellent written/verbal communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the willingness to get the job done, we would like to hear from you! Coordinating, tracking, verifying, and reporting status of international transportation, following through to final delivery. Communicating with all necessary parties accurately and in a timely manner. Compiling and validating all necessary documentation to complete Customs Entry. Following through to Customs release and follow all OGA's that would pertain to the specific commodity insuring compliance. Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments international shipments from their origin to final destination. Gather, review, and verify international transportation related documentation. Prepare quotations and coordinate documentation between customers, vendors, forwarders, and brokers. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational proficiency to meet growth and profitability goals. Associate degree or equivalent level of training or experience. Relevant experience in a Customer Service role or equivalent skill set. Basic knowledge of Customs rules/regulations regarding the Import & Export of freight. Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude, organization of work and superior customer service. Computer literacy, with proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficiency in mathematics Knowledge of world geography. This role will be full-time based out of our corporate office.
